Preview Maburaho brings some fun ideas into the harem genre along with a number of cute girls. In this show, everyone has magical abilities of varying levels, but can only use their magic a certain amount of times. Kazuki, our main character, can only use his magic 8 times and has the lowest grades in his class. But when the girls find out he has the genes for a child to have extrordinary magical powers, they want him. Upon returning from class to his dorm he finds a pink-haired girl named Yuna in there, welcoming him home. Strangely, she starts claiming that she is his wife and offers to make him food, prepare his bath, or... *ahem*. Kazuki doesn't remember who Yuna is, but he met her when he was a child. She came back to fulfill a promise she made to him back then, that she would be his wife. Then a third year student at his school shows up in his dormitory and wants to get his genes as soon as possible. In fact, she is so forward that she starts removing his clothes to get it on right in the middle of the hall. And one more girl shows up, Rin, dressed up in a kimono and carrying a sword, who is being forced by her family to get hooked up with It's not just these 3 girls that want him, but now every female in the entire school. Of course, being a harem show, there is some fanservice which mostly consists of girls in lingerie and a number of panty shots. These first two episodes were pretty fun and I will be picking up volume 1 when it streets on April 19th. |
