Wandaba Style vol. 1

Review
Michael Hanagata is manager of the new all girl band, Mix Juice. He teams up with Susumo Tsukumo, the boy genious scientist, in an attempt to make the girls popular by having tghem be the first band to do a concert on the moon. Each episode has them trying to reach the moon using different methods of propulsion because the previous method fails. It's not so bad for the first few attempts but they keep trying new methods and it just gets old.

The four girls that make up Mix Juice don't get along much of the time and feel as if they're there just for fanservice and slapstick comedy with character development being nonexistent. The scientist's robot assistant goes on all the rides with Mix Juice and provides a lot of lolita fanservice because she ends up revealing her pink undergarments one way or another. Mix Juice's manager tries to be funny and cool but to me he is just loud mouthed and very annoying.

Mix Juice's music is actually pretty good. They sing the opening and ending themes, as well as a couple songs during the show. The animation looks really limited and uses a lot of shortcuts to get by. I didn't find the show very funny and was rather bored. Sure, the characters are cute and the music is catchy, but as a whole it's not something I find very entertaining.
