Sister Princess vol. 5

Review
Haruka invites her brother to come dance with her at the dance hall, but on his way home from school he trips and injures his leg. Haruka takes it upon herself to take care of him until he gets better by feeding him during meals and washing his back. Once his leg heals, Haruka and Wataru go to the Autumn Festival for games and share a dance together.

Then, Wataru's spirit leaves his body when he is sleeping, and the next morning none of his sisters, except Chikage, can see him. She tells him she can help him return to normal, so she takes Wataru to her room, but she asks him to help her with something instead. She tells Wataru that she will make him remember something he forgot and takes him on a strange adventure in another reality. The episode is kind of weird and mysterious, but then again, so is Chikage.

Shirayuki has made boxed lunches for Wataru daily, and Yamada always hopes there is extra food left over because he wants to eat some of the food she makes, too. He tells her that Wataru needs more nutrition in his meals, so she begins to make bigger and bigger meals for him. Wataru tries to finish all the food, but there is way too much and he has a hard time telling her not to make so much food for him in the future because Shirayuki made it all just for him. I think Shirayuki is a fun sister, and while this episode isn't too bad, I thought it could have been better.

The last episode on this disc is about Wataru spending Christmas with his sisters for the first time. The sisters get Sakuya to take Wataru out of the house for awhile while they decorate the Welcome House with lights and prepare Wataru's present. Sakuya gets to spend a lot of quality alone time with Wataru around town while they talk and look at Chistmas lights. When Wataru comes back home, the girls surprise him by singing a song together and then they all exchange gifts.

The episodes on this volume were pretty average fare, aside from the Christmas episode that proved to be quite good. If you've enjoyed it up till now, this disc is more of the same.
