Sister Princess vol. 3 | |
|
Review Sister Princess is a show where you can just kick back and enjoy, simple as it may be. There is a little bit of fanservice too as the girls have some fun in the sun. Summer has begun and the girls go out and buy some new bathing suits so they can go swimming. Wataru and his sisters go outside to clean the pool so they can use it the next day. Of course, Yamada helps clean the pool too since he wants to see the sister in their bathing suits as soon as possible. The only problem is Wataru doesn't know how to swim, so Mamoru takes it upon herself to teach him. All the sisters put their swimsuits on and hit the pool for some fun in the water. Rin Rin makes a submarine so they can all go on a vacation. There's a cute scene where Wataru puts two of his youngest sisters, Hina and Aria, on a large suitcase to push them. It's a lot of the little stuff like that that makes this show special and heartwarming for me. His sisters don't tell him where they were planning on going and their submarine gets caught in a storm and they get stranded on an unknown island. They find a nearby beach house where they decide to stay until they find a way to get home since no one appears to be living there. This place seems vaguely familiar to Wataru, as if he had been there before, but he isn't sure how he knows the place. Wataru's sisters make some cute outfits out of the curtains that covered the windows as they let their clothes dry. There are a lot of good scenes with Wataru spending time with his different sisters while they are stranded. I find myself enjoying Sister Princess more with each passing episode. There is a peacefulness to the show that makes it a relaxing and satisfying experience. Extras
