Shadow Star Narutaru vol. 2

Review
While Shiina's father is doing a support job for the Self-Defense Force by flying one of their fighter jets to another base, he gets attacked by a dragons child that looks like a pink haired angel with wings. It tells them to play and then a large gatling gun emerges from its body and kills his co-worker. When visiting her father at the hospital, Shiina sees a strange boy who says something to her making her think that he is responsible.

Shiina and Akira chase the guy down all over town, eventually leading them to an abondoned warehouse. Inside they see what look like sculptures of the dragons, with one of them looking exactly like the one that attacked her father. However, the kids inside ask them strange questions and only respond with vague answers that frustrate Shiina until she leaves. Soon afterwards, Akira gets captured by a dragon.

When Shiina realizes that Akira needs her help she immediately goes and saves her, but during this she sees a dragon fighting against some helicopters. Apparently, the army has gotten involved, but they don't seem to know much about the dragons, either. Satomi has a hard time controlling her dragon, and with her being strongly linked to it, she physically feels the blows as her dragon is nearly deafeated by some helicopters. Right before this episode ends, Shiina sees the pink haired dragon that attacked her father and commands Hoshimaru to attack it.

Right now I'm not too sure where it's going but I like what I've seen so far. I like the different designs of the dragons and some of the mystery surrounding them, but there is still a lot that needs to be explained, like what the motivation and goal is for the group of kids who are using their dragons to fight the army.
