Popotan vol. 2 | |
|
Review The sisters's house continues to teleport to different locations, each time revealing a little bit more about the mystery surrounding the sisters and the popotan. Oh yeah, and there's a lot more bath scenes and fanservice too. As if bath scenes weren't enough, Popotan offers up a hot spring episode for more nudity and nipples from the sisters and their maid. Ai, having the ability to speak to the popotan, finds a single Popotan in the area who might have clues to where they might find what they are looking for. What they are looking for we don't even know, but thats what their whole journey has been for so far. They journey far across the hills, and with direction from the popotan that they brought along in a pot, they hit every hot spring along the way. That perverted little flower. They come accross a field of popotan and a mysterious girl appears, dancing amongst the popotan and a full moon. The girls think this means they are on the right track and head back to the house. But when they return, Mai and Mea are left behind when the house disappears right in front of their very eyes. The house reappears in the same location, but it is now five years later. When they find Mai, they discover that she hasn't aged at all in the last five years. Apparently, the girls don't age when they are away from their house. Mea has been by her side the whole time as she made friends and went through school the way she had always wanted, without having to move around and leave them behind. Their next destination gives them an ocean view from their windows, whith an obvious excuse to get the girls into their swimsuits again. There they run into Daichi (the boy they met in the first episode) who is now in his thirties. He realizes that something is up since the girls haven't aged since he saw them when he was a kid. The girls don't want others to find out their secrets so it becomes a problem for them. Popotan has had good dramatic scenes mixed in with it's comedy and over-the-top fanservice. Mea, the maid, who has me laughing a lot with her hilarious remarks and the way she delivers her lines with her flat voice. The plot still hasn't gone anywhere as a lot of it is still a mystery, but I am having fun nonetheless. Extras
