Petite Princess Yucie vol. 2

Review
Several new characters show up in this volume and Yucie continues to do her best to become the Platinum Princess.

While working at a church, a strange young man comes to the door and collapses in front of Yucie. He says his name is Arc and it's highly hinted that he is the prince. She meets him again doing another job at the library where he is looking for information on the Eternal Tiarra. There are some really good scenes here with the budding romance between the two.

Yucie and Glenda go to the demon world to find another Crystal Flower, but when they get to the demon world everyone has been turned into cats. Glenda attempts to return everyone back to normal, including Yucie, who has been turned into a cute white cat herself. We also get to meet Glenda's father who isn't exactly what you would expect from the king of the devil world.

Elmina, the daughter of the king of the heavens, joins the princess academy as a platinum princess. She is quiet yet somewhat clueless and forgetful. The new characters make the cast even more enjoyable and fit in very well with the story. So far there are platinum princess candadites from the human world, the spirit world, the demon world, the heavenly world and while she hasn't been introduced yet, there will likely be one from the fairy world as well.

While this is very much a kids show, it's something that can be enjoyed by all ages and Petite Princess Yucie is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Highly Recommended.
