Moeyo Ken

Review
Yuuko,Toshie and Kaoru are the daughters of Shinsengumi warriors and make up the Mobile Shinsengumi. They fight off ghosts and goblins in order to protect the town, but unfortianately they usually end up destroying it themselves.

The show is four episodes long witch each episode being a monster of the week type and they aren't anything special. The three girls are the typical stereotypes and there is hardly any character development. I did laugh a few times, but the comedy was hit-or-miss for me.

Moeyo Ken almost feels like a magical girl show. The girls have transformation-like scenes when they equip their mobile armor and their attacks that have them spinning around and posing on screen. While the animation isn't bad, it could have been much better as it looks like a TV series. There is also some CG used with the futuristic cars the girls drive.

Everything considered, Moeyo Ken is your run-of-the-mill OVA series that I wouldn't recommend, but wouldn't avoid either.
