Gravion Zwei vol. 3 | |
|
Review Gravion comes to its conclusion with a final fight between Gravion and the Zeravire. The EFA's Gran Troopers continue to fight, but when the Zeravire unleash a massive amount of units on earth, they are unable to handle it. However, their efforts bought enough time for the Gravion pilots to return to the castle after overcoming some personal problems and Gravion comes to help fight off the many Zeravire units. But not even even Gravion has enough power to stop so many Zeravire, so Sandman finally unleashes his most powerful mecha, Sol Gravion. With the Zeravire's plans of having the earth destroyed within 48 hours, the Gran Knights are forced to act quickly. Sandman allows Eiji to pilot the Geo Mirage, giving him command of the Sol Gravion instead of Touga. The Gran Knights head out into space, with Sandman right behind them in the Gravion while the EFA handles the units surrounding the Zeravire's stronghold. These episodes had a lot more surprises and does a pretty good job wrapping up just about everything. Overall, the ending is quite enjoyable, although it does play out in a fairly straightforward manner. My only gripe is that when Eiji finally finds out about his sister, it felt like something they threw in right at the last second as if it were an afterthought, when she really was the whole reason he got mixed up in all of this. Gravion Zwei really raised the bar for the series and has exceeded the first thirteen episodes in nearly every way. Although some aspects of the show could use some work, like the many plot points that seemingly come out of nowhere, this series was just a lot of fun, and when the theme song kicks in and the action heats up I can't help but get excited. Zwei definately gets a recommendation from me, and makes the complete series a title worth checking out. Extras
