Review Having just ripped a majority of the team to shreads, the alien goes after the remaining few. Masaru tries to reason with the alien, which doesn't work out, and he ends falling down the side of a hill and getting knocked out. Terrified, Kei and the girl make a run for it. Just as Kei finally gets cornered, Masaru wakes up and tries to hold the monster back so Kei can escape, but ends up with a severe injury on his arm. After all thats happened, the only thing Kei wants is to beat the crap out of this monster and he does so, with pleasure. The suit he is wearing makes him feel more powerful and he delivers several blows. The brutality of it all isn't something you see very often in anime. Joichiro, the only one in the group who seems to know whats going on, appears and tells him to take out his gun and shoot the alien so he can get the points. Everyone who survived the mission gets teleported back to the apartment where Gantz, the black ball in the middle of the room, gives them their "skores" (Yes, the black ball spells words akwardly). It also makes some hilarious comments on their performance during the mission. Kei tries to get some answers out of Joichiro as he has been involved in this for awhile now. He is pretty vague in his answers, but he does explain some things. Having survived the mission, Kei is able to return home and wakes up in the morning, only to find out none of it was a dream. At this point, I'm really hooked on the show. It's just so different from a lot of other anime, not just in the level of violence and sex, but the story and the personality of the characters are very original. Gantz keeps me on the edge of my seat in suspense and the two episodes here were over before I knew it. Extras
