Review DNAngel continues with some episodic stories that provide some solid entertainment. Risa and Daisuke are forced to stay after school because the professor feels they could use some more practice in shredding cabbage. Riku agrees to switch places with Risa, which isn't too hard seeing as they're twins, to help her out since she isn't so great in the kitchen. Daisuke needs to steal another item at the same time hhis teacher asked him to attend his extra class so he has With transform into a Daisuke look-alike so he can get out of class. A filler episode, but not all that bad. Daisuke's mother explains how she met his father and how she needed her first child to be a boy so Dark could continue to be passed down through her family. Daisuke begins to wonder if his mom cares more about him or Dark because she seems to be more worried about Dark than him. Dark attempts to help Daisuke through some of his personal problems and I'm liking him more with each episode, he's a great guy. Daisuke is told by his grandpa to go steal a particular item from the musuem, but when he gets there he finds a girl holding onto it. His grandpa gave it to her when he was Daisuke's age and she has been waiting to meet him again. It shows some scenes of his grandpa when he used to be Dark and his connection with the girl. She believes that Daisuke is the one she had been waiting for when it was actually his grandpa that she had met so many years ago. This disc does a good job fleshing out Daisuke's family while Phantom Dark gets some good scenes in with him doing his thing by going around and stealing more magical items. DNAngel is good, clean fun. Extras
