Summary While on Aqualoid, Nam finds a mysterious sword. He soon finds himself being chased by the Inorganics. |
Review Birth is like a really long chase sequence. The characters spend a majority of the time running away from the Inorganics. There is no background information revealed about the characters or any developement among them. The dialogue is lame and a lot of the comments made by the characters are just silly. There isn't much of a story, and very little is explained and I found myself confused about exactly what was happening.
The animation quality is pretty good overall, especially considering it was made in the 1980's, but it does look akward at times. A lot of the action has the view going circles around the characters or having the character going all over the screen without switching the scene. This isn't a bad thing, it's just looks different than a lot of other shows. Also, for some reason a lot of the explosions have no sound effects.
The best part of the show is a few of the action scenes, but even those don't make it worth watching. Birth is a strange, nonsensical show that is ultimately unsatisfying.
Overall:

Content
Language Quite a bit of profanity.
Violence While there is a lot of fighting, it's mostly contained to explosions.
Sex Some cleavage and a joke about a girl's butt.
