Summary
Hibiki Amawa needs to pay the landlady the rent for his apartment so he attempts to get a job at Seitow Sannomiya Private School. However, the school only accepts female teachers. With the help of the landylady he cross-dresses and gets the job. But will he be able to prove to this school that favors women that men are more than just perverts? |
Review
This show starts out good and gets better. The first few episodes have some comedy but it gets toned down later on when things get more serious. Hibiki had always dreamed of being a teacher and now he is one. He brings his morals to the classroom and teaches his students the best he can about life. This show brings up some excellent questions and great answers to them. Hibiki has excellent character, and you almost want to stand up and root for him with some of his actions.
The last five episodes start to deal a lot more with the relationships of the characters. Once I got to this part I was hooked until the last scene. A lot of interesting things happen with some great scenes and the execution was perfect. Some might find the ending unsatisfying, but I found it to be reasonable and quite moving.
The animation is slightly above average, it never looked tacky and gets the job done. The openings and endings are nice and catchy.
Strawberry Eggs is a fun, touching series that brings up some interesting situations and has a great cast of characters. Check this one out - you might just be amazed.
