Summary
The richest girl at school is the president of the Debutante Club at St. Ignacio High. She competes against the Etiquette Club for the best club at school. But, what she is really after is the Etiquette Clubs secret: the Battle Skippers, the most powerful mecha. If she can get the program inside them, she can rule the world. Best friends, Saori and Sihoko, want to join the Etiquette Club, but they don't know about the Battle Skippers. Once they join, they find out about the secret, and must help protect the Battle Skippers. |
Review
Battle Skipper is a rather interesting show. It is rather silly and doesn't take itself too seriously. The Ex-Stars, who are the members of the Etiquette Club, do everything they can to protect the Battle Skippers, which they pilot. When they get into their mecha, they even have a magical girl type transformation sequence.
The animation is pretty average and the action is mediocre. The plot isn't spectacular, but it holds up well for only 3 episodes. I wish that we could get more information and time with the characters, because they are a fun bunch. Overall, this is an okay show, but it's a little bland.
